Challenge

As they approached a rebrand in mid 2020, General Motors CMO solicited GMF UX for visual design concepts for a redesigned homepage. Unhappy with the outdated GM homepage, the CMO requested visual concepts that would take undertones and visual design queues from their Vision 2039 Ultium initiative apply those elements to a refreshed homepage.

Process

With an aggressive one-week turnaround time from assignment to delivery, the projects was fast-tracked from the start, bypassing a more thourought UX process.

After the project kick-off, I quickly created low-fidelity wireframes for early socialization and buy-in for the basic page layout and priorities.

From there, I iterated toward the high fidelity version presented here, and delivered the final version in one-week.
